PSW Resume Example

PSW Job Description:

PSWs or personal support workers work in many capacities including care facilities and private homes where they are responsible for the physical and emotional wellbeing of the patients that they cater to. As providers of in-home services, personal support workers have much responsibility on their shoulders as far as patient care and welfare is concerned.

It is important for PSWs to be patient as they often have to perform duties for patients who may be suffering from dementia or other debilitating diseases which means that many unpleasant situations may arise during the course of the day. It is also vital for personal support workers to maintain knowledge of devising individualized care plans and implementing them properly.

To work as a PSW, you do not necessarily need college education but you must possess a high school diploma at the very least. Training is usually provided by facilities that hire personal support workers. PSWs need to be both emotionally stable and physically agile as they often need to work with difficult patients and perform physically challenging duties.

Following is a very good sample of PSW Resume. You can modify it as per your requirements.
