I am confident to be a strong candidate for the internship since the qualifications directly match my educational experience, career interests, and skills.
I am presently a junior at the University of Rochester majoring in business administration with a concentration in finance. All the way through my college career I have done extremely well in all of my finance courses and my professors have recommended that I work as a tutor for students requiring help with class assignments. My courses in finance have provided me with a strong background in the methodologies required for fruitfully analyzing and synthesizing significant financial information and in preparing documentation to help management when making decisive business assessments. Moreover, I am a speedy learner and take pleasure in the challenges of doing relative, quantitative, and cash flow analysis plus portfolio and asset management and financial modeling. I consider my strengths in these areas would serve me pioneering at the Goldman Sach’s summer program.
Besides my related coursework, my internship with Merrill Lynch has provided me with a great chance to use my knowledge and skills and relate them to the real world. I greatly enjoyed assisting customers with their financial decisions I found that my outstanding interpersonal skills served me well when dealing with challenging clients. I was requested to return this summer as an intern but I am particularly thrilled about the summer program that Goldman Sachs offers students and I consider that this chance would give me with extra acquaintance and skills that will add to my abilities to positively serve clients in the field.
Thank you for your time and consideration and I look forward to hearing from you. I will call in one week to talk about my qualifications and see if you have any questions for me at that time.
